Controlling Weeds in Your Lawn

I use a liquid spray for all my broadleaf weed applications. I use a long hose with a shower head nozzle so there isn't drift. I also use a low volatile 24-D based herbicide. There are some non-24-D based weed killers on the market but they do not kill the harder to kill weeds. I use one of the best weed killers that I have found on the market and apply it at full recommended rates. I want ALL the weeds to die when I spray.

Grassy-like weeds such as crabgrass are controlled through a pre-emergent application that is put down in the spring before these weed seeds germinate. This special application puts down a thin layer across the soil that actually prevents the weed seeds from germinating.
